Small Handrail Installation Guide
We sell several components that make up our Small Handrail System. This guide will show you how to assemble them into a beautiful deck railing.
Our Small Decking Handrail System uses the following components, which can be found in our price lists:
- Small Handrail
- 2 X 2
- 5/4 X 4
Given the nature of Brazilian decking, we recommend predrilling all screw holes.
1. Attach the Small Handrail to the 2 X 2 balluster, screwing it in from the top.
2. Attach the 5/4 X 4 base rail to the 2 X 2 balluster, screwing it in from the bottom.
3. If you followed these instructions exactly, there will be a screw hole visible on top of the railing. To avoid this, we recommend installing wood plugs.
